Birthdly is a birthday tracking app that stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
All data you enter into Birthdly — including names, dates, photos, gift ideas, notes, and interests — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data is sent to external servers, cloud services, or third parties.
Birthdly requests access to your camera and photo library solely to let you add photos to birthday entries and gifts. These photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or shared.
Birthdly offers voice input for its built-in assistant. Microphone access and speech recognition are used only to convert your speech to text on-device. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Birthdly uses local notifications to remind you about upcoming birthdays. Notification scheduling is handled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external services.
Birthdly's built-in assistant uses Apple's on-device language model (when available) or local text parsing to understand your requests. All processing happens on your device. No conversation data is sent to any server.
Birthdly allows you to export your data as a JSON file and import it back. This process is entirely under your control — files are saved to and read from locations you choose. We have no access to your backup files.
Birthdly does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app contains no ads.
Birthdly does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require account creation or any personal information to function.
